The position, speed, direction and destination of the vehicle will be sent via GPRS to a server which will calculate the optimal route using various algorithms. Control boxes at the intersections will be informed as the vehicle approaches and the server will ask the traffic light to give a green signal in the direction of the vehicle and a red light in all other directions or in the crossing directions. The traffic light can thus be programmed to giving a green light in the direction of the vehicle and a red light in all other directions – or only in the crossing directions if that is desired.

Known technology
This solution is based on known technology and thoroughly tested components. This secures a high level of security and stability.
The solution is developed in Microsoft .NET i C# by Safe Crossing Solutions (SaCS) on the basis of interviews with police, bodyguards, emergency personnel, medical staff and fire fighters, all of whom work with emergency transport on a daily basis, as well as traffic engineers and several companies that develop and produce control systems for traffic lights.
